At an authoritarian girls' school not far from here, five best friends are trapped in a world of uniforms, rules, regulations, and the Young Lady's Book of Behavior. They're good girls! REALLY! They're good students, they love their parents, they respect their teachers, they're kind to animals, and they never spit in public.

BUT

...they've got an inner need for speed, battle and COMPETITION! When the school day's over, these gals risk it all when they surreptitiously trade their gleaming saddle shoes for battered roller skates to skate their brains out on the wooden track and fight for roller derby supremacy against all comers!

Evil students from another school, conquering robots from the center of the earth, angry roller-skating chimps from Las Vegas, hard-hitting heavy metal girls from Mars, dangerous demons from another dimension - the girls will skate against anyone and anything, anywhere and anyhow!
